Measurement can be made by a single person since the tester can be secured in close contact with a measured object by inflating the 14mm rubber at the end of the tester by turning the adjust nut (only when used for the 14mm spark plug). In the case of a vehicle with a plug other than the 14mm spark plug, the tester can be used as a manual pressure contact type by replacing the 14mm rubber with the provided V rubber.

Measurement can be made by a single person since this compression tester can be secured by screwing the hose adapter into the spark plug hole. Screwing of the hose adapter into the spark plug hole can be performed just by hand requiring no tool. The hose adapter can be connected to and disconnected from the tester main body by means of a coupler quickly and easily. The long hose adapter as long as 400mm allows easy connection even to a deeply set spark plug like the DOHC.
With three types (10mm,12mm,14mm) of hose adapters provided, this tester can be used with most of reciprocating engines from a two-wheeled vehicle to a four-wheeled car.
